The phase II project of Qingdao Metro Line 7 is a north-south line, which connects the east bank urban area, north bank Chengyang District and Jimo District of Qingdao.
According to the three-year action plan for rail transit construction in Jimo District, it is planned to open phase II of Metro Line 7 by the end of 2026.
With bursts of roar, the pile foundation construction of Wenfeng Road Station contracted by China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau officially began, becoming the first drilling station in the whole line, It marks the official opening of the construction of the main project of phase II of Qingdao Metro Line 7, and Jimo has officially entered the subway construction stage.
After completion, it can strengthen the connection between Jimo and the main urban area of Qingdao and realize the rapid connection between the north and the south of the urban area, which is of great significance for Jimo to integrate into Qingdao and become one of the main urban areas.
According to the relevant person in charge of Jimo District Metro Office, since the commencement of the project, it has successfully overcome the difficulties in the early stage, such as many coordination areas, wide green relocation range, complex pipelines, difficult traffic flow regulation, tight supply of operators and materials near the Spring Festival, and completed the early stage construction preparations in advance, The first pile construction of the whole line of line 7 was successfully realized.
There are 10 stations, including qiandongcheng station, Dongcheng station, jingdai station, Huanxiu station, Wenfeng Road station, Lanao Road station, Heshan Road station, Qingwei Road station, Bei’an station and Yingpu Road station.
