Construction technology of milling repair and maintenance of expressway asphalt pavement

According to the approved mix proportion, the asphalt mixture shall be graded and loaded by mouth under the monitoring of the laboratory, measured accurately, mixed uniformly, and the heating temperature of raw materials shall be strictly controlled: (1) asphalt heating temperature: 150~160 ℃ (ordinary asphalt), 165~175 ℃ (modified asphalt); (2) stone heating temperature: 185~195 ℃ (ordinary asphalt), 190~210 ℃ (modified asphalt); (3) mixture stone discharge temperature: 160~170 ℃ (ordinary asphalt) Overheating shall be avoided in the mixing process of 170~185 ℃ (modified asphalt).

2.3 Asphalt mixture transportation The asphalt mixture shall be transported by large tonnage dump truck.

The target mix ratio and production mix ratio of asphalt concrete shall be determined in accordance with Technical Code for Construction of Highway Asphalt Pavement (JTGF40-2004), and shall be reported to the supervising engineer for approval before construction.

During mixing, the filling rate of the mixer is 70%, and the mixing time of each pot is 40s~50s, of which the dry mixing time is not less than 5s.

2.4 When the paving width of asphalt mixture is less than 7m, one paver shall be used for paving.

Because the paving thickness of the slope adjustment section is uneven, the coefficient of loose paving must be considered when adjusting the elevation of the reference point.

2.2 The asphalt mixture is mixed by intermittent mixing equipment.

2.1 The construction of asphalt concrete mixture in the construction setting out, milling and repair project must be paved according to the linear, plane and size of the original pavement.

1、 Milling of asphalt pavement Large milling machine with automatic control of milling depth should be used for asphalt pavement milling of expressway.

Then, the number of milling machines shall be determined according to the number of works to be milled, and the end of the section to be milled shall be milled in sequence.

We selected ABG-423 paver in the construction, which has stable performance, good vibration and initial compaction effect, and good paving effect.

Therefore, the milling waste must be uniformly collected and managed, and then comprehensively utilized according to the situation.

Clean the carriage before transportation to make it flat and clean, and apply the isolating agent.

When the paving width is more than 7m, two asphalt concrete pavers shall be used for parallel paving.

Cleaning is an important construction process of asphalt pavement milling and repair construction, which consumes a lot of time and manpower, so it must be organized and arranged reasonably.

During construction, we choose 20 dump trucks with a load of more than 25T to ensure that the temperature of asphalt mixture transported to the site is not lower than 165 ℃.

The elevation of each datum point is calculated by averaging the elevation difference at both ends to each datum point.

Rolling shall be carried out when the temperature is not lower than 150 ℃.

If the thickness of the slope adjustment section is greater than 8cm, it must be filled in layers.

Milling and planing shall be completed at one time as far as possible, and shall not be stopped except for special reasons.

2、 Asphalt pavement repair The repair of asphalt pavement must be carried out according to the methods and requirements of asphalt concrete pavement construction.

When adjusting the slope, first measure the elevation of the non settlement positions at both ends of the settlement, and then erect aluminum alloy balance beams on both sides of the paver as the leveling datum plane of the paver.

It should be noted that if the original road surface has settlement and vehicle bump, the slope must be adjusted.

The mixing station is equipped with a cold aggregate supply system, a hot aggregate elevator, a screening device, a hot aggregate storage bin, a storage and transportation device, an asphalt storage and transportation system, a weighing system, a mixer, a finished material storage bin and transportation device, a dust removal device, etc., and five cold bins.

When two asphalt pavers are used, they shall be jointly paved in echelon operation, and the paver tracks overlap by 50mm~100mm.

Before the formal construction, appropriate transportation routes shall be selected, and the routes with the shortest time and least interference shall be selected as far as possible.

Since a large amount of milling waste remains on the lower bearing layer after milling, the lower bearing layer must be thoroughly cleaned before asphalt concrete paving.

When discharging, the vehicle shall be in neutral gear, pushed by the paver, and brake gently to prevent the hopper of the paver from slipping due to inertia.
