General regulations 1)   The surface of the lower bearing layer shall be completely cleaned, the floating dust shall be blown away, and the water shall be used to flush if necessary

Material requirements 1)   The prime coat materials are mainly high permeability emulsified asphalt and kerosene cut back asphalt, and their quality shall meet the requirements of Chapter 4 of technical code for construction of highway asphalt pavement (jtgf40)

2)   The viscosity of the prime coat oil is determined by adjusting the amount of diluent or the concentration of emulsified asphalt

.

The penetration depth of the prime coat oil in the water stabilized layer should not be less than 5mm, and that in the graded crushed stone layer should not be less than lomm

.

3)   The amount of prime coat oil shall be determined by trial spraying and shall not exceed the specification requirements

.

4)   Fast cracking or medium cracking emulsified asphalt, modified emulsified asphalt and fast and medium setting liquid petroleum asphalt shall be used as the binder course asphalt

.

The type and strength grade of the base asphalt used shall be the same as that of the surface course

.

5)   The type and amount of tack oil are determined by trial spraying and meet the requirements of specifications

.

Equipment requirements 1)   Equipped with cleaning machine, powerful blower and other cleaning equipment

.

2)   The asphalt distributor equipped with computer-controlled spraying amount and heat-conducting oil insulation is adopted

.

The Distributor shall be able to accurately control the asphalt distribution amount and adjust the distribution width

.
