The interchange project of s3-g1503 hub mainly includes 1 main line overpass, 8 ramps and subgrade widening with the current main line of g1503.
Because some main lines and new ramps of S3 highway are above the ramps of the existing Fengcheng toll station of g1503 highway (the positions overlap), the original ramps need to be removed and rebuilt, and g1503 Fengcheng toll station needs to be closed during construction.
It is the connecting channel between the central urban area and Pudong New Area, Lingang New City and Fengxian District.
The original ramp needs to be demolished and rebuilt.
According to the overall plan of the project, the new project of S3 highway overlaps with the ramp of Fengcheng toll station of g1503 expressway.
The construction of the project can improve the expressway network in the Southeast (Pudong and Fengxian), effectively shorten the travel time and distance between the areas along the line and the city center and the Yangtze River Delta, and improve the external radiation capacity of the southeast area.
After completion, S3 highway is connected with g1503 expressway through ramps to form an interchange.
The designed structural sideline invades the lower ramp, so it is necessary to close the management and construction of g1503 Fengcheng toll station.
Highway S3 (Lianggang Avenue Interchange between zhoudeng highway and g1503 highway) is the radial highway of the “one ring and twelve shoots” of the city’s expressway network.
The completed s3-g1503 hub interchange will open up an all-round interactive channel, provide a more convenient travel environment for residents along the line, and drive the rapid development of the integration of Fengxian District, Lingang New Area, Pudong New Area, Jinshan District and even Hangzhou Bay area with Shanghai urban economic circle.
